問曰：無垢復何須浴？釋言：由浴故得無垢，據終彰始，故言浴此無垢人矣。此亦得名約始論終，是故名為浴無垢人。

Question: Since he is undefiled, why does he still need to be bathed? Explanation: It is because of bathing that he attains being undefiled; stating the beginning based on the end, it therefore says 'bathing this undefiled person'. This may also be named discussing the end based on the beginning; therefore it is called bathing the undefiled person.
