自下第四維摩得飯，命眾同食，即顯香積少飯廣竟，令此尊敬。於中有二：一命共食，彰食無盡。二「其諸菩薩聲聞」已下，明食身樂，顯食殊勝。前中偏告聲聞令食，不命菩薩。

Next, the fourth [major division]: Vimalakīrti, having obtained the rice, bids the assembly to eat together, thereby revealing that the little rice from Sarvagandhasugandhā amply suffices [all], causing them to revere it. Therein are two parts: first, bidding them to eat together reveals that the food is inexhaustible; second, from "Those bodhisattvas, śrāvakas..." onward clarifies that eating it brings bodily bliss, revealing the extraordinary excellence of the food. In the former part, he addresses only the śrāvakas to make them eat, but does not bid the bodhisattvas.
