4.53

第四段中，阿難先歎。「未有」總歎。「如此香飯能作佛事」，重復辨歎。下佛述成。如是所歎契當，故重印之。

In the fourth part, Ānanda first praises it. "Never before" is a general praise. "Such fragrant rice is able to perform the buddha-work" explains and praises it anew. Below, the Buddha confirms it: because what was praised accords with the truth, he reaffirms and validates it.
