Although the ineffables are superficially the same, when one understands their purports, they truly do not confound one another. In the degenerate age, those who sit in meditation and listen to lectures are not clear about this; hearing 'ineffable,' they become confused. This is like the difficulty of distinguishing between the tinduka and kālānusārya fruits. If one distinguishes this meaning, Śāriputra and Vimalakīrti are not even of the same category; how could non-Buddhists and ordinary people be equated with them?
