答曰：「即」理雖同，「異」義有六：一者，理即；二，名字即；三，觀行即；四，相似即；五，分證真實即；六，究竟即也。

Answer: Although they are identical in that principle is the same, in their difference there are six meanings: first, identity in principle; second, identity in verbal designation; third, identity in contemplative practice; fourth, identity in resemblance; fifth, identity in partial realization of the real; sixth, ultimate identity.
