五、總對教相者，以四悉檀起諸經教，與此經教有同有異，即是判「教相」、知同異也。

Fifth, comprehensively matching with the characteristics of the teaching: generating the teachings of the various sūtras through the four siddhāntas, which share similarities and differences with the teaching of this sūtra; this is classifying the 'characteristics of the teaching' and knowing their similarities and differences.
