1.56

第二、辨悉檀相者，一、世界悉檀；二、各各為人悉檀；三、對治悉檀；四、第一義悉檀。大聖為破外人邪四悉檀，故說此四種正四悉檀，說一切大小乘經教也。

Second, discerning the characteristics of the siddhāntas: 1. the worldly siddhānta; 2. the individual siddhānta for the person; 3. the therapeutic siddhānta; 4. the paramārtha siddhānta. The Great Sage, in order to shatter the four heterodox siddhāntas of non-Buddhists, taught these four correct siddhāntas, expounding all the sūtras and teachings of the Mahāyāna and Hīnayāna.
