答曰：無問事、理，聞說即悟，皆是說第一義也。故經云「始從得道，到泥洹夜。若說一色一香，無非中道。」
Answer: Regardless of whether it is phenomena or principle, if upon hearing it expounded one immediately awakens, it is in all cases expounding the paramārtha. Thus a sūtra states: 'From the time of attaining the Path until the night of nirvāṇa, if [the Buddha] expounded even a single color or a single scent, none was not the Middle Way.'
