答曰：前四句檢，生性不可得，即是性空。無生而說生，即是假生；假生即是不生，不生即相空也。故世諦破性立假，真諦破假，即是相空也。

Answer: In the examination by the previous four propositions, the intrinsic nature of arising cannot be found; this is the emptiness of intrinsic nature. When one speaks of arising where there is no arising, this is provisional arising; provisional arising is non-arising, and non-arising is the emptiness of characteristics. Therefore, worldly truth refutes intrinsic nature and establishes the provisional; ultimate truth refutes the provisional, which is the emptiness of characteristics.
