2.82

他生者，經言「心不孤生，必籍緣而起」，故《大品經》云「有緣思則生，無緣思不生」，當知一切法，皆從外緣生也。

Other-arising: the sūtra states, "Mind does not arise alone; it necessarily relies on conditions to arise." Therefore the Pañcaviṃśatisāhasrikā Prajñāpāramitā Sūtra says, "When there is a condition, thought arises; without a condition, thought does not arise." One should know that all phenomena arise from external conditions.
