3.116

禪波羅蜜滿者，菩薩具足禪定，於外道禪定，出入自在，如尚闍梨仙人坐禪時，無出入息，鳥於髻上生子，慈悲不動，乃至鳥子飛出，是名禪滿。

The fulfillment of the pāramitā of meditation (dhyāna) is when a bodhisattva is fully equipped with meditative absorption and enters and exits the meditative absorptions of non-Buddhists with sovereignty—just as when the ṛṣi Śaṅkhācārya was sitting in meditation, having neither in-breath nor out-breath, a bird laid eggs and hatched fledglings in his topknot, yet out of compassion he remained motionless until the fledglings flew away; this is called the fulfillment of meditation.
