答曰：別教菩薩初心雖信無量、無作四諦之理，而界內煩惱障重，必須前斷此惑，故先修生滅四諦以調心也。

Answer: Although the bodhisattva of the distinctive teaching at initial faith has faith in the principle of the immeasurable and non-arising four truths, their affliction obstacles within the realm are heavy and they must first sever these delusions; therefore they first cultivate the four truths of arising and ceasing to regulate the mind.
