二、明能詮四教者，若三藏教，詮於理外，不即二諦；若通教，詮於理外，相即二諦；別教詮於理內，不即二諦；圓教詮於理內，相即二諦也。

Second, clarifying the four teachings that express [them]: the Tripiṭaka teaching expresses the non-identical two truths outside the principle; the shared teaching expresses the mutually identical two truths outside the principle; the distinctive teaching expresses the non-identical two truths within the principle; the perfect teaching expresses the mutually identical two truths within the principle.
