4.103

一、明初十信不得用四句分別者，以十信似解，未發真無漏、顯真應二身故，不得用四句判其高下也。

First, explaining that the initial ten faiths cannot use the four propositions for distinction: because the ten faiths possess resemblance understanding and have not yet aroused true non-outflow or revealed the true and responsive bodies, one cannot use the four propositions to judge their higher and lower.
