4.62

第六、四教通經論者，佛用四教成一切頓、漸諸經，諸論釋經，豈越於四教也！即為二意：一，對經；二，對論。

Sixth, explaining how the four teachings connect to the sūtras and treatises: The Buddha used the four teachings to bring forth all sudden and gradual sūtras; how could the treatises commenting on the sūtras go beyond the four teachings? There are thus two aspects: first, in relation to the sūtras; second, in relation to the treatises.
