5.23

有翻者問無者曰：何故言「外國有多含之語，此土無有多含之語此是經者」？《法華》明六根清淨，何得悉知六塵、十法界之理耶？

The proponent of translatability asks the proponent of untranslatability: "Why do you say that foreign lands have words containing multiple meanings, while this land has no words containing multiple meanings, and that this is what jing is? The Lotus Sūtra clarifies the purity of the six sense faculties; how could it be that one fully knows the principle of the six dusts and the ten dharma realms?"
