第一、釋不思議解脫名者，即為三意：一，出古今解釋不同；二，詳眾家解釋；三，正明今家解釋。

First, explaining the name "inconceivable liberation" consists of three points: first, setting forth the differing explanations of ancient and modern [masters]; second, examining the explanations of the various schools; third, directly clarifying our own school's explanation.
