5.57

五、地論諸師解釋不思議解脫者，通教緣修，用七識智照佛性真理，斷界內見思，界外無明。若發真解斷結，則七識圓智，蕭然累外，名為解脫。此是不真宗明解脫，非不思議解脫也。若真宗，八識真修體顯離二障皆融，無得無累，名不思議解脫也。

Fifth, the explanations of inconceivable liberation by the masters of the Dilun: Practicing through conditions in the shared teaching, one uses the wisdom of the seventh consciousness to illuminate the true principle of buddha-nature, severing the views and thoughts within the realms and the ignorance beyond the realms. If one generates true understanding and severs fetters, then the complete wisdom of the seventh consciousness stands untroubled outside entanglements, which is called liberation. This is the explanation of liberation in the non-true tradition, not inconceivable liberation. In the true tradition, the true cultivation and manifesting of the substance of the eighth consciousness frees one from both obscurations and merges them, with nothing attained and no entanglement, which is called inconceivable liberation.
