Fifth, sūtra containing the sense of "garland": this is also revealing the meaning by way of a metaphor. A garland is threads piercing through flowers without any falling away; the Great Awakened World-Honoured One uses the four siddhāntas to preach the Dharma, expressing all characteristics of phenomena, responding to conditions without anything being missed or lost. Furthermore, a garland can adorn the body and head; the Tathāgata's spoken teachings adorn the practitioner so that all revere and love them. Therefore sūtra contains the sense of "garland".
