問：此經歎補處，何得約初心而釋？答：發心畢竟二不別故。但後心入三諦無礙，橫廣細極、竪深窮源，即是補處無礙陀羅尼也。

Question: Since this sūtra praises those [bodhisattvas] who are in the stage of succession [to buddhahood], how can it be explained with reference to the initial mind? Answer: Because the initial resolve and ultimate [realization] are not two different things. It is simply that when the final mind enters the three truths without obstruction, horizontally vast to the utmost subtlety and vertically deep to the very source, that is the unobstructed dhāraṇī of those in the stage of succession.
