第三、述其發誓弘經護持流布。從「過去藥王佛」去，文為四：一明過去法供養之因由、二明王子月蓋、三結會古今、四結釋述成。

Third, confirming his vow to propagate the sūtra, protect it, and disseminate it. From 'In the past, Bhaiṣajyarāja Buddha' onward, the text has four parts: first, clarifying the origins and circumstances of the past offering of the Dharma; second, clarifying Prince Candracattra; third, linking and uniting the ancient and the present; fourth, concluding the explanation and confirming it.
