第四、諸佛稱歎。即契於實相，初心即能作佛，故為諸聖之所嗟歎。「背生死」者，背三種生死也。「示涅槃」者，即是示百句解脫也。「十方佛所說」者，一切佛道同皆共說此實相也。

Fourth, praised by all buddhas. That is, tallying with true reality, with the initial mind one is immediately able to become a buddha, and is therefore praised by all sages. Regarding "turning one's back on birth-and-death": turning one's back on the three kinds of birth-and-death. Regarding "revealing nirvāṇa": that is revealing the hundred phrases of liberation. Regarding "spoken by the buddhas of the ten directions": the path of all buddhas is identical; all together expound this true reality.
