三、到彼問訊宣旨。問訊為二：一正宣旨問訊請飯、二彼菩薩嗟歎。就宣旨中為二：一禮敬、二宣旨。就彼諸菩薩嗟歎中為四：一歎未曾有、二生疑、三問佛、四佛答。佛答中為三：一正答國土近遠化主功德、二重問大士之德、三佛答甚大。

Third, arriving there, inquiring after health, and announcing the message. Inquiring after health has two parts: first, properly announcing the message, inquiring after health, and requesting food; second, those bodhisattvas sighing in admiration. Within announcing the message, there are two parts: first, paying homage; second, announcing the message. Within those bodhisattvas sighing in admiration, there are four parts: first, praising it as unprecedented; second, conceiving doubts; third, questioning the Buddha; fourth, the Buddha replying. Within the Buddha's reply, there are three parts: first, properly answering about the distance of the land and the virtues of the transforming master; second, inquiring again into the virtues of the Great Being; third, the Buddha replying that they are extremely great.
