貞和三年三月二十九日，染江南之㝹毫，寫山上之鵝教，雖不遁講眾慇懃之芳命，猶恐繼門主奇妙之高跡而已。

On the twenty-ninth day of the third month of the third year of Jōwa, dipping the southern brush in ink, I copied the goose teaching of the mountain. Although not escaping the earnest and fine command of the lecturing assembly, I still feared following the wondrous and lofty traces of the lineage master.
