問：今長者子定歎何眼？答：經屬方等，具說四教隨四根緣。何所聞知？歎無乖隔，下云一音演說，隨類各解。

Question: Now, which eye in particular does the elder's son praise? Answer: The sūtra belongs to the vaipulya [period], which fully expounds the four teachings in accordance with the capacities and conditions of the four kinds of faculties. How is this known? The praise is free from divergence or blockage, as it says below: "Expounding with a single sound, each category understands according to its kind."
