4.70

「迦葉白佛」下，二、奉辭不堪。文為四：一奉辭不堪、二述不堪之由、三正述不堪之事、四結成不堪。初文者，良以往昔捨富從貧被彈無答，故不堪傳佛旨往問疾也。

From "Kāśyapa said to the Buddha" below, second, he declines, stating his inadequacy. The text has four parts: first, declining and stating his inadequacy; second, explaining the reason for his inadequacy; third, directly narrating the events of his inadequacy; fourth, concluding his inadequacy. As for the first passage, truly it was because in the past he had abandoned the wealthy to approach the poor, was rebuked, and had no reply; therefore, he was inadequate to convey the Buddha's command to go and inquire after the illness.
