問：旃延廣解佛五義，何得約五行解？答：約理名五義，約智名五行，約定名五禪，轉側相關義無乖異。

Question: Kātyāyana broadly explained the Buddha's five meanings; how can they be explained in terms of the five practices? Answer: In terms of principle, they are called the five meanings; in terms of wisdom, they are called the five practices; in terms of samādhi, they are called the five dhyānas. Turning and alternating, they are interrelated, and their meanings are without discrepancy.
