「阿難」下，二、辭不堪。文為四：一正辭不堪、二述不堪之由、三正述被彈之事、四結成不堪。初文者，良以往昔為佛乞乳，被彈無答，豈堪傳旨。

From "Ānanda" below: second, declining as unworthy. The text has four parts: first, directly declining as unworthy; second, recounting the reasons for being unworthy; third, directly recounting the matter of being rebuked; fourth, concluding the unworthiness. As for the first passage, truly it was because in the past he begged for milk for the Buddha, was rebuked, and had no reply; how could he be worthy of conveying the command?
