「故我不任詣彼問疾」，四、結成不堪。善得自惟往昔父舍設會不閑法施，遂被彈呵，心即清淨，豈堪傳旨往問疾也。

"Therefore I am not competent to go there and inquire after the illness": fourth, concluding on incompetence. Śāntamati reflected that in the past, when holding an assembly at his father's house, he was not conversant with the gift of Dharma and was consequently rebuked; his mind then became pure, so how could he be competent to convey the [Buddha's] directive and go to inquire after the illness?
