6.33

「光嚴」下，二、奉辭不堪。文為四：一奉辭不堪、二述不堪之由、三正明被呵、四結成不堪。初文者，良以往昔問道場義莫知所答，故不堪傳旨往問疾也。

From 'Prabhāvyūha' down is, second, his respectfully declining as unworthy. The text has four parts: first, respectfully declining as unworthy; second, recounting the reasons for being unworthy; third, directly setting forth his being rebuked; and fourth, concluding on his unworthiness. As for the first passage, it is precisely because in the past when asked about the meaning of the bodhimaṇḍa he did not know how to reply, and is therefore unworthy to convey the command and go inquire after the illness.
