6.51

「持世下」，二、奉辭不堪。文為四：一奉辭不堪、二述不堪之由、三明不堪之事、四結成不堪。初文者，良以往昔不覺魔作帝釋，為淨名所彈，豈堪傳旨。

From "Jagatīṃdhara [said to the Buddha]" downward is, second, respectfully declining as unworthy. The text has four parts: first, respectfully declining as unworthy; second, recounting the reason for being unworthy; third, explaining the event of being unworthy; fourth, concluding his unworthiness. As for the first passage: it is truly because in the past he did not perceive the māra disguised as Śakra and was rebuked by Vimalakīrti, how could he be worthy to convey the [Buddha's] message?
