From "Therefore" up to "that sought," third, concludes the rebuke of Śāriputra's fault in giving rise to thoughts. Because thought of seeking the Dharma brought about weariness and fatigue, he then thought of seats. If one truly seeks the Dharma, there is no thinking and no seeking; waiting until the water becomes clear and tranquil, the jewel's form naturally manifests—only this is true seeking. In this, without weariness or fatigue, how could one think of seats?
