7.135

「爾時下」，六、述成大迦葉。上迦葉云此法門者魔不能壞，今述成此意。為二：一述魔不能壞、二明住不可思議菩薩能成就行人。初文「一切魔不能壞」者，夫作魔王多是住此法門，擊諸初學方便菩薩，及修圓道初學之者。若是真道，如金剛寶鉼無能破者，亦如猪揩金柱轉益光色。若其魔來，更增福智。

From "At that time" onward is the sixth [part]: confirming Mahākāśyapa. Above, Kāśyapa said that Māra cannot destroy this Dharma-door; now this intention is confirmed. This has two parts: first, confirming that Māra cannot destroy it; second, explaining that bodhisattvas abiding in the inconceivable can bring practitioners to accomplishment. In the first text, "all Māras cannot destroy": now, those who act as demon kings are mostly those who abide in this Dharma-door, striking at the beginners who practice expedient bodhisattva practice, as well as those beginners who cultivate the perfect path. If it is the true path, it is like a vajra-jeweled vessel that none can break, and also like a pig rubbing against a golden pillar, making its lustrous color even brighter. If Māra comes, it will only increase their merit and wisdom even more.
