7.67

「以方便生是菩薩解」，二、約禪顯是。若觀中道，不染前三，誓生三土皆是以方便生。雖生三土無三種縛，能解三土眾生之縛，故言以方便生是菩薩解。

"To be born through skillful means is the bodhisattva's liberation" is, second, revealing what is correct in terms of dhyāna. If one contemplates the Middle Way and is untainted by the previous three, then vowing to be born in the three lands is in all cases being born through skillful means. Although one is born in the three lands, one is free from the three kinds of bondage and able to liberate the beings of the three lands from bondage. Hence it is said: "To be born through skillful means is the bodhisattva's liberation."
