7.89

問：此十四品皆不思議，何得獨標此品？答：雖復皆明，但此品廣出變用事顯，故別標題。如摩訶般若始終皆明般若，佛言欲求般若當於〈須菩提品〉中求。而須菩提對佛、釋提桓因、舍利弗問難，一向皆入真空實相，即般若正意，故勸此品中求。今品亦爾。

Question: All these fourteen chapters are inconceivable; why is this chapter alone singled out with this title? Answer: Although they all clarify it, this chapter broadly brings forth transformations and functions where the events are conspicuous; hence it is separately titled. Just as the Mahāprajñā clarifies prajñā from beginning to end, yet the Buddha said: "Those who wish to seek prajñā should seek it in the 'Subhūti Chapter'." And when Subhūti faced the interrogations of the Buddha, Śakra Devānām Indra, and Śāriputra, he consistently entered the true emptiness and real mark, which is the correct meaning of prajñā; hence he encouraged seeking it in this chapter. The present chapter is also like this.
