問：火等四光，其意何主？答：一往出《法界性論》。今借此意，表四教智照不同，以義銷釋。

Question: What is the main intent of the four lights of fire and so forth? Answer: Preliminarily, it comes from the *Dharmadhātuprakṛti-śāstra*. Now borrowing this idea to express the differences in wisdom-illumination among the four teachings, it is interpreted and resolved by meaning.
