「舍利弗」下，四、明此室有八未曾有事，二乘思議之所無也。文為三：一標章、二辨相、三結斥。初標章者，即不思議之用二乘所無。今釋正對涅槃大海八不思議譬，其義孱同，但名目次第起緣前後小異。

From "Śāriputra" onward, fourth, explaining that this room has eight unprecedented matters, which are absent from the conceivable of the two vehicles. The text has three parts: first, stating the topic; second, distinguishing the characteristics; third, concluding with a rebuke. As for the first, stating the topic: it is the inconceivable function that the two vehicles do not possess. The present explanation directly parallels the eight inconceivable similes of the great ocean of nirvāṇa in the Nirvāṇa Sūtra; their meanings are largely the same, differing only slightly in the order of names and items and the sequence of their arising.
