第三、維摩默然無言。以此往論得知，維摩是圓教之中無言無說，即入不二。語則動亂，波浪便起。默則心靜，如水澄清珠相自現。

Third, Vimalakīrti's silent wordlessness. Inferring from this, we know that Vimalakīrti's wordlessness and speechlessness within the Perfect Teaching is entering nonduality directly. Speaking causes agitation and disturbance, and waves immediately arise; silence makes the mind tranquil, like water clearing so that the appearance of the jewel manifests naturally.
