9.62

問：十信何不似解入似？答：通意可爾，別義不然。如人知彼家有物，未必入其門內。今明入者，是證初住、已顯法身得名為入，如開示悟入初住中論。

Question: Why cannot the ten faiths enter through an approximate understanding? Answer: From the general perspective this is permissible, but in terms of specific meaning it is not so. Just as someone may know that there are goods in that house, but has not necessarily entered inside its gate. Now, entering is clarified as realizing the first stage of abiding and having already manifested the dharmakāya; this is what is called entering, just as opening, displaying, awakening, and entering are discussed in the first stage of abiding.
