From “incomparable” up to “because it is difficult to know” is third: clarifying the concluding synthesis of the inconceivable bodhi of the three virtues. In “incomparable is bodhi”: the inconceivable wisdom and severance of true suchness are all dharmas; one cannot compare dharma to dharma again, so it cannot be illustrated by analogy. In “subtle and marvelous is bodhi”: provisional principle is not marvelous; in the Perfect Teaching, all dharmas are true suchness, and true suchness is wisdom and severance. All dharmas are the inconceivable bodhi of the three virtues—only this is ultimate subtlety, which cannot be known by ordinary people, followers of the small vehicle, or those of expedient bodhi.
