問：寂光既極，何須用教？答：教被中下，不被究竟。初住已上名下，等覺名中，妙覺為上。又十地名下，等覺名中，妙覺名上。具如下文。

Question: Since Tranquil Light is the culmination, why does it need to use teaching? Answer: The teaching covers the middle and lower, not covering the ultimate. The first abode and above is called lower, equal enlightenment is called middle, and wondrous enlightenment is superior. Also, the ten stages are called lower, equal enlightenment is called middle, and wondrous enlightenment is called superior. It is fully as explained below.
