二、簡實報寂光，三：初、簡不生。荊溪云：問實報受生等者，還取上文三土有生。唯常寂光無往來生，則應不合更有此問。答中意者，但欲重顯從名消義，亦約中下在果報內。

Second, distinguishing true reward and quiescent light, with three parts: first, distinguishing non-birth. Jingxi says: In asking whether true reward receives birth, etc., it returns to the above text where the three lands have birth. If only constant quiescent light has neither coming nor going in birth, then there should properly be no such question again. The intent in the answer is merely wishing to clarify once again the interpretation of the meaning from the names, which also relates to the middle and lower [grades] within fruition and reward.
