三、通出室。「若不精解」等者，荊溪云：若不始未解佛國義，此品但云菩薩淨土及眾生來生并淨土行，如是等文何由可識？

Third, understanding the departure from the room. Regarding "If one does not thoroughly understand..." and so forth: Jingxi says: "If one does not understand the meaning of the Buddha-land from beginning to end, how could one recognize texts such as those where this chapter merely speaks of the bodhisattvas' pure land, sentient beings coming to be born, and the practices for the pure land?"
