觀其所感，則毘耶之與天台、杜口之與立言，雖階位不同，廣略異宜。至於赴機施教，其揆一也。

Looking at that which resonates, between Vaiśālī and Tiantai, between keeping silent and setting down words, although their stages and positions differ, and the extensive and abridged have different suitabilities, when it comes to responding to faculties and dispensing teachings, their principle is one.
