三、辨佛國義，二：初、敘意開章，二：初、敘意。「三釋」等者，應云釋佛國義，「品」字恐誤。「請問佛國因果」者，荊溪云：願聞得佛國清淨，問果也。唯願為說淨土之行，問因也。「此經」下，既須明識，故用八重釋之。

Regarding "three: explaining..." and so on: it should say "explaining the meaning of the Buddha land"; the character "chapter" (pin) is likely an error. Regarding "inquiring about the causes and fruitions of the Buddha land": Jingxi says, "Wishing to hear how to attain the purity of the Buddha land is inquiring about the fruition; only wishing that you preach the practices of the pure land for us is inquiring about the cause." Regarding "This sūtra..." below: since one must clearly understand it, eight levels are used to explain it.
