二、釋其意，二：初、敘意分科。「方便至之土」者，方便曲巧也。曲巧隨緣示現三土，隨緣不變同一寂光。鏡像器飯，喻意可識。二、「今就」下，隨文釋義，四：初、就虛空結釋，二：初、約佛國譬文與此對釋，二：初、舉譬。二、「此言」下，合法。

Second, explaining its meaning has two parts: first, stating the intention and dividing the sections. "The land reached through expedient means" means skillful expedients. Through skillful expedients, in accordance with conditions, three lands are manifested; yet, in accordance with conditions without changing, they are identical to the single Quiescent Light [Land]. The analogies of the image in a mirror and food in different vessels illustrate an intention that can be understood. Second, from "Now regarding..." downwards, explaining the meaning following the text has four parts: first, concluding and explaining in terms of empty space, which has two parts: first, correlating and explaining the metaphorical passage on Buddha lands with this [passage], which has two parts: first, raising the metaphor; second, from "These words..." downwards, matching the doctrine.
