三、「當知」下，結。於三義中，唯初義與今菩薩位數相當。既開合相收，故同後二，故云即表此之三義。

Third, under "One should know," concluding: Among the three meanings, only the first meaning corresponds directly to the number of bodhisattvas' stages here. Since opening and combining subsume each other, it is identical with the latter two; hence it says it indicates precisely these three meanings.
