二、「但眾」下，別釋，三：初、敘意。二、正解。文中復更約位分別者，荊溪云：至此位時方可通為眾生知識。若正歎者，如下結文，即補處位。

Second, from "Only sentient beings" onwards, specific explanation, in three parts: first, stating the purport; second, the direct explanation. Where the text again differentiates according to stages, Jingxi says: only upon reaching this stage can one universally serve as a spiritual mentor for sentient beings. If spoken in terms of primary praise, as in the concluding text below, it refers to the stage of succession [to buddhahood].
