二、觀解。荊溪云：既云一心，五不應別。不別而別，暫屬對之，故此應云秖麁細境即中道也。

Second, contemplative explanation. Jingxi states: "Since it is called 'single mind,' the five should not be distinct. Being distinct while non-distinct, they are temporarily paired; therefore here it should be said that the coarse and subtle objects are precisely the middle way."
