二、觀解。荊溪云：觀心中取本有理，名為心淨，能觀此理得已度名，故諸禪語攝別地前及前二教。

Second, the contemplation explanation. Jingxi says: In contemplating the mind, grasping the inherently existing principle is called "purity of mind"; being able to contemplate this principle gains the name "having already crossed over." Therefore, the statements on the various dhyānas subsume [the stages] before the bhūmis of the Separate [teaching] and the two preceding teachings.
